Goals: This safety session should teach employees to:
- Recognize their right to know about chemical hazards and protections
- Work safely with chemicals
OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard is based on the single concept that employees have both a need and a right to know the identities and hazards of the chemicals they are exposed to at work. They also need to know what protective measures are available to prevent adverse effects from occurring. OSHA designed the Hazard Communication Standard to help employers provide employees with this information. When given the proper information about the chemicals that employees use, steps can be taken to reduce exposures and establish proper work practices.
This module also includes:
- Chemical Hazard Communication Quiz & Answers
- Certificate of training completion
- Attendee roster
